Welcome Shauna!

Shauna Stiles has been a 6th and 7th grade art teacher at ME for four years.    For three summers she taught an abstract painting course to high school students at SUNY Oswego's summer Art Institute.  She also taught sculpture and photography classes at the Oswego Art Association and Marine Museum to students ages 6-12.  In the past year she has held workshops in metal working and sculpture for NYSATA (of which she is the Region 12 treasurer for the past three years.)  She also has worked for the Teacher's Center of Tioga County teaching a sculpture class in Dryden, NY.
 
Her art has been showcased at the Rude and Bold Women's Show for three years, the Art Mission, the Washington Street Gallery, and the Art Association of Oswego.

Chuck Williamson will be painting with acrylics at a free demonstration at Barnes and Nobles in Vestal on sunday, July 26 at 2pm. Please come and join us! our mission

The Art School is a community-serviced based organization whose goal is to provide affordable art education to all people and to use art to educate the community.   We are proud to have paired with many community partners so far, including A Room To Heal, The American Breast Cancer Walk,  Binghamton University, Southern Tier AIDS Program, A.V.R.E., YWCA, Barnes & Noble, The Alternative School in Binghamton, The NYS Reflections ProgramThe Four County Library SystemFASST, WSKG and so many more, including local area school districts, businesses, galleries, restaurants, and private citizens.  We are grateful to the patrons who support TAS with generous donations of time, money, and art supplies and to our wonderful clients.
