The Art School™ is pleased to introduce our new blog, Survivor Stories©, created specifically to educate the public about the journey through the disease.  All the digital stories and the mini-film (*graphic images) were created through The Art School™ as part of a community service project.  Feel free to view and comment on any posts. Noel Noel Anderson-Corwin Make a pop-up card for someone special on Valentine's Day in this one-day workshop. All materials are included. Each participant will be able to make up to 6 cards. Acrylic Painting for KIDS! with Chuck Williamson

Join Chuck to learn how to paint like a professional! You will produce at least two paintings! Please bring two 16x20 canvases. Brushes and paints will be provided. Wear a smock or paint in clothes that can get dirty! Ages 8-15 Wednesdays: Session II: Feb 17, 24, March 3, 10, 17. 5:30-7:00pm $45

Welcome intern Meg Reynolds! Meg is an avid artist who joined The Art School as an intern in the summer of '09.  Her specialty is portraits but she enjoys drawing everything! Meg is in 8th grade at Vestal Middle School and plans to pursue art through High School. Meg organizes supplies at TAS and works with the children in the Spring and Summer Art Camps for Community Service hours.

* The Art School™ welcomes Guest Faculty Lizabeth Cain and Barbara Kaufman! Lizabeth is an adjunct instructor in Binghamton University’s School Of Education. Barbara worked as the Director of the music program at The Susquehanna School. We are very pleased to feature their courses in writing for children and recorder for children and adults. Welcome, ladies!!!

* Private Lessons With John Brunelli! Need a little individual instruction? The Art School is featuring private lessons with Artist John Brunelli, at his studio by appointment. Please call The Art School to set up a lesson: 797-2517. Minimum of three one-hour lessons required.
